How we estimate print time

When you upload, we run your file through the same slicing software and printer settings we use for production. It works out how much material your design needs and how long it takes on our printers. You don’t need to know any of this: it just sets your minimum price.

PLA

In one line
The everyday material: crisp detail, lots of colors
Strength
Stiff but brittle. Can snap if dropped
Heat
Softens at about 55–60°C. Indoors only; never in a car or direct sun
Water and outdoors
Indoor use. Weakens and fades in sunlight
Finish and detail
Sharpest detail, matte or satin finish

PETG

In one line
The tough one: stronger, and handles heat and water
Strength
Tough and slightly flexible. Bends before it breaks
Heat
Holds its shape to about 75–80°C. Handles most UAE heat, but not a car dashboard in summer
Water and outdoors
Water-resistant. Fine for planters, bathrooms and shaded outdoor spots
Finish and detail
Slightly glossy; very fine details come out a little softer

AED 0.15 per gram
Best for
Planters, hooks, organizers, phone stands, anything handled often or used near heat

Pick PETG for anything functional, outdoors or near heat. Pick PLA for decorative pieces that stay indoors.

Good to know: neither material is sold as food-safe, so no listings for cups, plates or food containers.
